Kym Marsh has spent her weekend hitting back at online bullies after her daughter's appearance on The Voice UK.
16-year-old Emilie Cunliffe sung for the coaches on Saturday night's opening episode but failed to get any of the four to press their buzzers.
Her performance of Clarity by Zedd was met with all red from the panel, who advised her to return in a year or two.
Poor Emilie came in for some brutal comments from online trolls about both her singing and appearance.
Her mum Kym, of early 00s reality telly group Hear'Say, was quick to jump to her defence.
"Got to say the bullies on here make me sick!! Say what you like about me I really do not care but a 16yr old??? Really?? Sick!!!" she tweeted.
And Kym went head to head with one Tweeter who was quick to backtrack and remove their messages after she wrote in response: "wow bullying a 16yr old! Really??? Must be proud of yourself egg!"
The now soap star also wrote online: "I am sooo proud of my daughter at 16 she is just a baby and she was so nervous but this is not the end for her this is just the beginning."
