Jeremy Jackson's ex wife has encouraged Chloe Goodman to 'press charges' against the actor.
Loni Willison split from from Jeremy last year amid claims that he had tried to strangle her.
Despite suffering broken ribs, scratches and an injured neck in the alleged attack, Loni opted not to make an official complaint.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, Loni said today: "Chloe should report Jeremy to the police for his own good. I didn't report him when he attacked me because I was scared. I was in a bad place emotionally and I didn't want Jeremy to go to jail.
"But after all this I think I should have done — maybe then I could have stopped Chloe having to go through that."
Loni also said that she was "not surprised" about the incident that saw Jeremy kicked out of the house after just three days and blasted show bosses for allowing him on in the first place.
"I know what Jeremy is like," she told the tabloid. "At least now everyone can see what I had to put up with.
"It's irresponsible of the producers to let him on there and give him alcohol with his history of addiction problems. Something like this was bound to happen."

On last night's show, Chloe spoke to Big Brother in the Diary Room where she insisted she "really likes" Jeremy but that he "took kindness for weakness".
Chloe added: "I don't think he did it on purpose. I don't think he did it maliciously".
Celebrity Big Brother 2015 continues nightly on Channel 5.
