Ben Haenow has insisted he doesn't think Simon Cowell is biased towards rival Fleur East.
Fleur is the tip to win the series and Simon has been very vocal in his support for the 26-year-old.
But Ben doesn't feel he's being made the second choice with his mentor ahead of the final.
Yesterday Ben hosted his homecoming with mentor Simon in Croydon, alongside friends an family.
The singer belted out tracks including Jealous Guy for crowds of fans as he drummed up support going into Saturday night's latest live show.
Speaking at the event, Ben said of Simon: "I don't think he's biased.
"He's really excited for the both of us and happy we got this far. I think he believes in both of us as artists. I don't think he'd have a favourite there."
The rocker, who is the bookies' second favourite to win, added: "I think he's just got two of us through and two people who have worked so hard really beforehand trying to make it in the music industry.
"I think he's confident in both of us."
Fleur and Ben face Mel B's last remaining Boy Andrea Faustini in the final.
