X Factor winner Ben Haenow has revealed he hopes to work with Ed Sheeran on his debut album.
The current Number 1 holder also wants to write with OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder, who penned Ben's winner's song Something I Need.
Ben's cover of the track hit the top spot in the Official Top 40 Singles Chart last night, selling over 214,000 copies to score the Christmas Number One of 2014.
He now plans to get working on his debut record for release next year.
"It'll be the best start to the year I've ever had," Ben told the Daily Star on Sunday newspaper. "I hope to work with Ed Sheeran on it and Ryan Tedder, who wrote the single."
Ben also told how Ed has given him some advice to ignore critics of The X Factor.
He explained: "A lot of singers give themselves a stigma for being on X Factor, like they haven't paid their dues. Ed told me not to worry and said that's not the perception in the music world.
"As long as you release good music, he thinks I will be on a level with the artists worldwide."
The X Factor returns to ITV for its twelfth series next year.
