Mark Wright reckons the real shock of Strictly Come Dancing 2014 is how long he's lasted in the competition.
Favourite to win Pixie Lott crashed out of the show last weekend in what many have branded the programme's biggest ever upset.
Speaking this week, Mark said: "I think it was a shock.
"Technically she's probably the best dancer – or in the top two or three there. It just shows you nobody's safe.
"It's up to the public – maybe they thought she was safe, I don't know."
The former TOWIE contestant had been the favourite to leave and confessed: "I can't believe I'm still here. That's the biggest shock for me."
Having survived another week and made it into the semi-finals, Mark is now a real contender to lift the Glitterball trophy.
But he vowed now to use his body for extra votes, explaining: "Actually, the only time I've had my shirt open I was in the dance off. So it's staying well on now!
"It's not coming open again – I don't think people like the torso."
Mark remains in the competition alongside Xtra Factor's Caroline Flack, popstar Frankie Bridge, Blue performer Simon Webbe and Eastenders actor Jake Wood.
