Jake Quickenden came face to face with burrowing cockroaches and soldier crabs as he took on his last I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Bushtucker Trial.
As always on the last day of the series, the final three campmates were each set a Bushtucker Trial, with each playing to win one course of a three-course meal, a drink, and a special treat.
Jake was up first in 'Fill Your Face', for which he had to secure his head in a perspex helmet that would be gradually filled up with jungle nasties. For each minute he lasted, he'd win one star.
The former X Factor contestant secured his first two stars without much fuss, having been joined by 1,500 cockroaches and 1,500 crickets.
But panic begun setting in during round three, when rangers tipped ten large burrowing cockroaches in to the helmet.
"They're f**king biting me," shrieked Jake. "They're f**king trying to burrow into my throat."
Jake made it a third minute, but his ordeal only got worse when huntsman spiders and water spiders were added, leaving him visibly shaking.
The 26-year-old begun humming to keep himself going during the final round, as 200 soldier crabs begun scuttling around his head.
However, he managed to tough it out for the full five minutes, meaning he'd won the starter for his campmates' final supper.
After hosts Ant and Dec observed that he'd been affected by this trial more than others, Jake explained: "It was the biting. I was wiggling my legs to keep me entertained."
