The start date for Celebrity Big Brother 2015 has been officially confirmed.
The the new series of Celebrity Big Brother UK will begin on January 7 at 9PM.
The CBB launch show had originally been scheduled for January 5, but was pushed back at the last minute after ITV announced the return of drama Broadchurch for the same time and date.
It means a Wednesday launch for the new series, which is expected to be the longest ever run at some five weeks.
"Viewers love Celebrity Big Brother so it makes sense to give them more of what they like," a source said earlier this year.
The latest CBB series is said to last up to 35 days compared to the usual 21 day, three week run.
While it means more house action the downside is that the calibre of celebs may decrease (even further…).
Some of the rumoured housemates for this year's run include East 17 singer Brian Harvey, soap star Patsy Kensit and former Radio 1 DJ Dave lee Travis.
Other names linked to the new series include model Calum Best and media loudmouth Katie Hopkins.
