Sunetra Sarker has become the ninth celebrity to leave in tonight's Strictly Come Dancing 2014 results.
The Casualty actress and her professional partner Brendan Cole found themselves in the dance-off in tonight's show alongside Mark Wright and his partner, Karen Hauer.
It was the third week in a row that Sunetra was in the dance off and the second time this series for Mark.
On Saturday night's 'Around The World' Strictly Come Dancing special, the eight remaining couples in the competition danced to impress the viewers at home and the judges in the studio, all with the aim of securing a place in next week's quarter final.
The judges' scores were combined with the viewers' votes to decide the lowest scoring two couples facing the dance off.
Both couples performed their routines again. Sunetra and Brendan performed their Rumba to 'Girl From Ipanema' and Mark and Karen danced their Salsa to 'Viva Las Vegas' by Elvis Presley. After both couples had danced the judges delivered their verdicts:
Craig, Darcey and Bruno all chose to save Mark and Karen which meant that Sunetra and Brendan were to be sent home. Head Judge Len Goodman said that he would have agreed with his fellow judges and sent home Sunetra and Brendan.
Reflecting back on her Strictly Come Dancing experience, Sunetra said: "It's been such a once in a life time opportunity to be able to do this.
"I'd like to thank Brendan for being just so committed and understanding, and such a natural dancer this guy – you've been great – thank you so much for everything."
She added: "I also want to say a thank you to every single one of the contestants and all the pro dancers for holding my hand so very tightly – love you all."
Brendan said, "She was a dancer form the beginning, I am extremely proud of her. You should be very proud of yourself to get this far- it's no mean feat! To reiterate thanks to everyone that works on the show – it's the best show on television!"
