Leona Lewis has reportedly been dropped from her latest label Island Records.
The former X Factor champ is said to have parted ways from the imprint after moving away from Simon Cowell's Syco in 2014.
Leona released her fifth album last year which peaked outside the Top 10 and sold 8,500 copies in its first week.
It's now been claimed there will be no future releases by Leona on Island.
"It simply didn't work out with Island," a source said this week. ""She made a great record and the label really championed her but something just didn't click."
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, the source revealed there would meetings over Leona's future next week with parent Label Universal "still very keen to keep her as part of the family"
A return to Syco is also not being ruled out.
Simon, who championed Leona on The X Factor back in 2006, said previously: "I have a real soft spot for Leona for so many reasons. I'd say to her, and I genuinely mean this, that the door will always be left open.
"Any time she ever thought, 'I want to come back to Syco' I'd welcome her with open arms."
For now, the Bleeding Love hitmaker is currently set to make her Broadway debut in Cats from July.
