X Factor champ Ben Haenow has now officially signed his record deal with Simon Cowell's Syco label.
Ben beat Fleur East and Andrea Faustini in the final of The X Factor last year to be crowned the latest winner of the ITV series.
His winner's song – a cover of OneRepublic's Something I Need – shot straight to the Number 1 spot at Christmas has has since sold over 300,000 copies.
Now – on his 30th birthday – Ben has signed his record deal with Simon Cowell.
Simon said: "Ben is a great talent and a great guy. I'm thrilled he is now officially part of the Syco family and can't wait to get working with him on his first album.
"And happy birthday Ben!"
On their official Twitter feed, Syco added: "NEWS: @Bhaenow – who is 30 today – has officially signed with Syco and will begin recording his first album this month."
The X Factor finalists will reunite next month for the start of the show's live tour which kicks off on February 13 in Belfast.
The X Factor will return to ITV later this year for its twelfth series.
