New judge on The Voice UK 2015 Rita Ora has confessed to being worried about what viewers will think of her.
The newbie made her premiere on the BBC One series last night with just over million 8 million viewers tuning in.
Speaking before the first episode – recorded last in Manchester – aired, Rita said: said: "I've been getting so nervous about what people will think of me.
"People have a different perception of me compared to what I'm actually like. I guess people see pictures and my music videos and don't know the kind of person I am.
"So being on the show is intimidating. It's like I'm giving myself to people. But I'm going to watch and I will be looking at Twitter."
The popstar, who has four number hits to her name from just the one album, admitted she was used to "negativity" online and has got used to it over the years.
"I get negativity all the time. I have it on Twitter constantly and I get it walking down the street," she told the Daily Star on Sunday today.
The Hot Right Not hitmaker added to the newspaper: "When I was first in the public eye I had so much random s**t and so many crazy things happened.
"It was with everything – from how I dress to what I say and how I sing. So I really had to commit to the way I am."
Rita has won praise from her fellow judges since joining the show with Sir Tom Jones relieved that she was 'more fun' than Jessie J.
"Jessie was great at what she did and right on it. But I remember saying to her, 'Don't scare people away!' She wanted to tell them that it was hard work. Well, yes. But showbiz is also fun," he said.
The Voice continues next weekend on BBC One.
