Australian actress and model Erica Haynatz has been cast as a school teacher in Aussie soap Home And Away.
The actress, who has previously presented Australia's Next Top Model and The Hot House will join the cast of the Sydney-based soap opera as a school teacher later this year.
Speaking about her new role, she confessed that she has been taking tips from family members for her new role, telling the Daily Telegraph: "My mum is a teacher and my mother-in-law is a school teacher and a principal, so with any luck they can give me some tips."
"Just like with any new job or new environment, there are always some nerves," she stated. "But ultimately, I am really thrilled. It feels like the perfect timing, the perfect role and the character is going to be a lot of fun to play."
Heynatz's acting credits include stage performances in musicals Legally Blonde and Australian Rocky Horror Show.
