X Factor boss Simon Cowell WILL be back on the panel next year, he has declared.
There's been speculation that music mogul could be set to leave the UK show after the current series ends for a return to the US.
But Simon declared this week: "I'm not going anywhere."
He explained: "I've loved doing the show this year.
"I still think we're not looking everywhere for talent so I'm going to increase how we reach out next year, maybe take mobile units around the country.
"I want the net wider."
The record label boss previously said that no decisions had been made about which judges would be back next year, saying that he'd wait until after the New Year.
Meanwhile, Simon has hit out at acts who use the show just for fame.
He took a not-so-subtle swipe at the likes of Rylan Clark and Jake Quickenden who have gone on the show in a bid to break into the entertainment industry.
Ryan went on to appear on Celebrity Big Brother and now hosts its spin-off show while Jake is currently in the I'm A Celebrity jungle.
Simon said: "There are people who come on this show who just want fame.
"They'll just do anything afterwards because that's why they've entered The X Factor."
For now, The X Factor continues this Saturday and Sunday on ITV.
