Lauren Platt has backed Ben Haenow to triumph in this weekend's X Factor 2014 final.
Lauren got the boot from the show in last night's semi-final after the sing off against Andrea Faustini.
Speaking on The Xtra Factor after her exit, Lauren wasn't that upset about missing out on going to Wembley as a finalist.
"I've gone out to three of the most amazing people I've ever met in my life," she said.
After vowing to stay in touch with mentor Cheryl, Lauren revealed how she "just cried and cried and cried" when she first made it through to the live shows and moved into the X Factor house.
"I said, 'We're gonna have such a blast, guys'!" the 17-year-old recalled.
Lauren went on: "When I look back at my first audition, even though I was definitely ready at the time, I feel like I've grown into a young lady.
"The show has taught me so much, and not just about the industry, about people, it's taught me so many life skills."
Meanwhile, Lauren insisted that there was no romance between her and any other contestant.
Following reports of a relationship with Only The Young's Charlie, Lauren said: "All the stuff with Charlie George has been blown out of proportion. He's my best friend. That's all. There was not one relationship in the house."

The X Factor returns next weekend on ITV at 8:30PM on Saturday and Sunday nights with the live final.
