Ben Haenow won The X Factor 2014 last night with over 60% of the vote.
Analysis of the voting stats show how in the final result, Ben had 62.5% of the votes compared to runner up Fleur East's 37.5%.
Despite us all thinking it'd be a close call it seems that the final result this year has been set in stone for weeks.
Only two acts ever topped the vote: Ben and Andrea Faustini. Andrea topped the first three weeks before his bizarre Halloween performance saw a downward spiral, allowing Ben to climb the ranks where he remained ever since.
Other analysis of the stats reveal how Andrea could've gone a lot sooner, polling below both Lauren Platt and Stevi Ritchie when he was in the bottom two but was saved by the judges both times.
In all of the other sing-off decisions the acts with the fewest votes were the ones to leave the competition, either via deadlock or through the judges' decision.
There were quite a few very close results: Fleur East almost never made it to the last live show, just 0.1% percent from the bottom two in the quarter finals.
And in Week 5, Jay James and Paul Akister were so close that they couldn't be split even to one decimal place, each scoring 8.1% of the vote according to the official voting stats released.
