X Factor's Lauren Platt reckons that the banter' between the judges goes too far sometimes.
The 17-year-old was in the bottom two at the weekend but avoided elimination after the judges' vote went to deadlock and it was revealed she'd polled more viewer votes than Stereo Kicks.
Now looking to bounce back, Lauren is looking ahead to the semi-final and is glad she's got Cheryl as a mentor.
Speaking about the panel, Lauren said of Cheryl's bickering with Simon COwell: "Cheryl and Simon are just like brother and sister, all they do is bicker away at each other.
"I have seen them both go too far with their banter but Cheryl doesn't take anything too seriously."
Lauren added: "She gives it to Simon just as much as he does to her, so it can work both ways.
"She is such a strong person and her positivity has really rubbed off on me."
At the weekend, Mel B voted to send Lauren home over Stereo Kicks, a decision which still doesn't quite make sense and one which angered Cheryl.
"I find it amazing that the critiques have been a certain way over the last few weeks, then it comes to this part and it changes, that amazes me," Cheryl said in a not-so-subtle dig at the Spice Girl.
