None of the four of The X Factor 2014 judges correctly predicted Ben Haenow winning tonight.
The annual judges' predictions on the Xtra Factor see the panelists predict the winner before the live shows start, writing their guess down before it's sealed until the final night.
This evening after Ben won this year's X Factor, the golden envelopes were opened to see what the judges had written.
And it seems that Ben was a dark horse at the beginning of the competition with none of the judges nor presenters correctly picking him as the champion when they made the predictions back at bootcamp.
Mel B got the closest after backing her own act Andrea Faustini, who finished third.
Cheryl backed Lauren Platt and Stereo Kicks.
Louis Walsh had backed Kerrianne Covell – who missed out on the live shows – and Stereo Kicks.
Simon Cowell had predicted Jay James and Stereo Kicks.
Meanwhile, X Factor host Dermot O'Leary had supported Lola Saunders whereas Xtra Factor's Sarah-Jane Crawford had also predicted Stereo Kicks.
Despite the off-predictions, the X Factor 2014 voting figures released tonight revealed the result wasn't too surprising in the end.
Ben had topped EVERY WEEK since the fourth live show and eventually triumphed over Fleur East and Andrea in the final with almost 60% of the vote.
