The X Factor 2014 has posted it's lowest ever rating for the final in a decade.
Last night's show was down almost 400,000 viewers on last year's final and was the least watched since series one.
An average audience of 9.5 million viewers were interested in to the two hour long show as Ben Haenow was crowned winner ahead of Fleur East.
A peak audience of 10.5 million tuned in to ITV as the final result was announced.
The slight reprieve was that the viewing figures were over a million viewers up on last Sunday's show, but that says more about last weekend's figure than last night's.

This series of The X Factor has been one of the worst rating ever, with the live show figures in particular struggling to match up to past years.
It's despite the fanfare return of Cheryl and Simon Cowell, together with all sorts of twists from wild cards to instant, double eliminations.
In fact, as our stats above show, last night's final was almost EIGHT MILLION viewers down on the last final that had Simon on the panel.
Strictly Come Dancing's tried and tested format on the other hand continues to work well.
The semi-final results had 9.61 million viewers, down just 20,000 viewers compared to last year's equivalent episode.
