Fleur East's Uptown Funk success has seen the original track rush-released.
Fleur performed the Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars single on The X Factor last Saturday night, despite it not being released until January next year.
Her cover of the song shot straight to Number One on iTunes, much to the delight of mentor Simon Cowell.
He declared: "It just shows that someone like her could have a career outside of this competition."
On hearing the news, Fleur said: "Really?! Oh My God, I can't believe, I actually cannot believe what is happening. I'm lost for words but I feel top of the world, I've got so many emotions."
But the success of the cover version has seen the original released this week and it's now gone straight to the top of the download charts itself, with Fleur in second position.
Despite potentially selling enough copies to top the official charts, Fleur won't be seen in the Top 40 this weekend.
While tracks from The X Factor be downloaded and appear on the iTunes charts, they are not eligible to be officially ranked in the Sunday night Official Singles Top 40 Chart.
Meanwhile, it's been rumoured that Fleur could be set to duet with Bruno in the final on the track.
However the move could end up backfiring on Simon, with the original version of the song now being tipped to beat The X Factor winner to Christmas Number One.

The X Factor returns next weekend on ITV at 8:30PM on Saturday and Sunday nights with the live final, featuring appearances from all of Demi Lovato, Ed Sheeran, Megan Trainer, Olly Murs, One Direction and Sam Smith
