Take That will return to The X Factor 2014 stage for the final and duet with the finalists.
The now three piece will sing their famous hit Rule The World alongside Fleur East, Ben Haenow and Andrea Faustini this Saturday night.
It follows reports that Madonna has 'snubbed' the final, although Simon insisted this week there was "no sub"
He said: "I don't think she's promoting."
The Mirror newspaper reports that Take That will close Saturday evening's episode with the group performances, just before the third placed act is announced.
A source told the tabloid: "It's really unusual for producers to team up the final three contestants, as this is when they stand or fall as individuals.
"But they wanted to spice things up. So rather than having them sing two songs each and a duet, they'll each be performing a duet and then this collaboration."
The insider explained: "They'll all sing Rule The World, which Take That had a hit with in 2006 and also performed at the London Olympics' closing ceremony.
"It's bound to go down really well with the audience at the arena and will make great TV. Expect tons of ticker tape."

A number of big popstars have already been officially announced for the final and the majority of have already appeared on the live shows.
Take That join former X Factor finalists One Direction and Olly Murs, Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith in taking to the stage again for a second time on this year's series.
But there will be some new faces, with All About That Bass hitmaker Megan Trainer making her X Factor UK debut, as well as a performance from former X Factor USA judge Demi Lovato.
The X Factor final will air live from Wembey Arena this Saturday and Sunday with a crowd of 10,000.
