The Voice 2014 winner Jermain Jackman is getting set to release his debut album.
Now admittedly, when we say "getting set", he's announced it's going to be released… in four month's time.
Jermain triumphed in the latest series of the BBC One show and his self-titled record will be out in March 2015, no doubt timed perfectly for the return of the The Voice 2015's live shows.
However the wait may be worth it: Unlike any other winner to date, this is an album of original tracks, co-written by Jermain himself. this young man from Hackney proving that's there's much more to his talent than simply his exceptional voice.
In a line that could've been taken from a pitch on The Apprentice, the album is described as a "British soul music inspired by yesterday, made for tomorrow".
19-year-old Jermain says, "I think my music has the ability to appeal to all sorts of people of all ages. But I'm still a young man, and I want my music to reflect that too."
The album contains a mix of upbeat tracks, soaring vocals and beautiful ballads.
