Pixie Lott and pro partner Trent Whiddon found themselves in the bottom two for the first time, dacing Simon Webbe and Kristina Rihanoff in the dance off.
Craig and Bruno voted to save Pixie but Darcey and head judge Len both voted for Simon, seeing the former get the boot.
Going into the live show this weekend, Pixie was the favourite to win the contest and was second from top on Saturday night's leaderboard.
Speaking about her exit from the show last night, Pixie said: "I have honestly loved this experience so much and I am so pleased that I decided to do it. I couldn't have asked for a better dance partner – honestly, Trent, you have been amazing. I have learnt so much and I am so grateful for it."
Len's decision as head judge to send Pixie packing has been criticised, and the panelist has also been blamed for Pixie ending up in the bottom two in the first place.
He had specifically slammed her Cha Cha routine for including illegal lifts, despite admitting that all of the contestants were guilty of breaking the rules.
Many took to social media to hit out the latest dance off result, especially with Simon having now been in the bottom two three times.
