The Strictly Come Dancing 2014 voting stats won't be revealed by BBC One.
Despite ITV's rival shows The X Factor, Britain's Got Talent and I'm A Celebrity releasing detailed voting breakdowns at the end of the series, the Beeb continues to refuse to do so.
Last night saw Caroline FLack win the latest run in a close final between herself, Frankie Bridge, Simon Webbe and Mark Wright.
Ahead of the final live show supposed voting leaks had put Frankie top of the polls as she and Caroline battled above the boys for the top spot.
This year again saw viewers able to vote for their favourite via phone, online and mobile, but the channel states it will still not be releasing voting figures.
The BBC puts the decision down to not wanting to impact the voting habits of viewers.
"We invite you to vote for the dancers that you liked best, based on their performance in each show and during the series," they explained in a statement. "Releasing voting figures could affect the way that people vote, and also have an impact on the participants. We therefore do not disclose the exact voting figures."
They continued: "Although the BBC is subject to the Freedom of Information Act, information which is closely connected to our programme-making is not covered by the Act. The Information Commissioner, who regulates the Act, has confirmed that information about Strictly Come Dancing voting is not covered. We are therefore not required to disclose the voting figures under the Act."
The BBC added: "The voting for each show is verified by an independent verification service."
Strictly will return to BBC One for another series next autumn.
