Caroline Flack has admitted she's been 'surprised' by Strictly Come Dancing 2014.
The Xtra Factor host jumped from ITV to BBC On for the latest series of the ballroom dancefloor competition this year and hasn't looked back.
One of the favourites to win the competition after topping the leaderboard last week with 39 out of 40 points, the highest score of the series to date.
"I didn't realise that I had it in me," Caroline said this week. "I didn't think I'd have the confidence to do it. I didn't really think I'd be able to get this far – definitely.
"It was more of challenging myself and now it sounds so clichéd but I've sort of surprised myself with how much I've enjoyed it."
Caroline is currently facing some stiff competition in the run up to this month's final but says that behind the scenes, everyone are close friends.
"Pixie [Lott] and Frankie [Bridge] are just brilliant. They're the most lovely, supportive, non-competitive girls I've met," Pixie said.
She revealed: "All the girls on Strictly actually – we've become really close. Since day one we've spoken to each other every day on this WhatsApp group. And we still do. Everyone who's even not in the competition – it's just been really nice."
Meanwhile, Caroline's fellow Strictly contestant Mark Wright has revealed how he won't be making too many repeats of his topless performance from last weekend.
"Louis had the body of a God, I don't," Mark said of comparisons to previous Strictly champ Louis Smith. "I might get my chest out but if I do then it'll only be the once!"
