Michael Buerk and Melanie Sykes have become the bush bosses on I'm A Celebrity 2014.
In tonight's show, the campmates were told that today one of them would become Bush Boss and Bush Deputy, and they would assign roles to the campmates. Michael was nominated Bush Boss, and he then chose Mel to be his deputy.
Michael and Mel were told that as bosses, they mustn't do any of the jobs in camp, which Mel felt uneasy about: "I don't like hierarchy. I'm not comfortable with it."
Edwina said: "People manage without the people who always regard themselves as indispensable."
Michael, had no such worries, and got immediately into his role as the boss. Kendra said: "Michael's role as Bush Boss is going straight to his head. He's laying the whip on all of us, making us work."
Michael joked: "Unfortunately I've not been provided with a whip. This is an oversight which I hope you'll correct."
Michael and Mel where given formal clothes to wear and they then had to assign the campmates with a task – they had to make Christmas decorations – coloured paper chains. Productivity would be measured in how quickly they made them.
As Foggy sat making his paper chain, he said: "Well, I never thought I'd be doing this after retiring from motorbike racing at the highest level – making Christmas decorations in the jungle. Where did it all go wrong?"
Next Michael and Mel had to allocate camp duties. They assigned Foggy to cooking, Kendra to collecting wood, Tinchy to washing pots and pans, Vicki to tidying and cleaning and Edwina to laundry.
Mel said to Foggy, who would be chef: "I can help but can't touch anything." Edwina spotted this and said: "She was alarmed at the idea that somebody else might be cooking the beans and the rice. It's not that difficult. It's not Haute Cuisine."
Later Mel picked up Tinchy's washing and Edwina reminded Mel she shouldn't be doing that. As things got a little tense, Mel said: "Bloody hell. I actually don't want to play this game. It's a load of crap. I can't win."
In the evening, the employees got to celebrate with the bosses at a jungle themed party, where Tinchy won the dubious honour of Employee Of The Month.
