Melanie Sykes has taken third place in I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! 2014, leaving Jake Quickenden and Carl Fogarty battling to be crowned the winner.
The TV presenter beat seven other contestants to make it to the final, but was eventually eliminated after lines froze in tonight's live show, having received the least public votes.
Speaking to Ant and Dec on her departure, Mel admitted she was "a bit gutted" not to have made it further.
"When you get so close you think, 'it could be me'," she said. "But I've had a ball. It was better than I expected, I thought it was gonna be more hellish. I had fun and i had amazing friends and I had a laugh. It's exceeded all my expectations."
The 44-year-old recalled her first Bushtucker Trial, which saw her encounter crocs and critters as she rummaged through dark tunnels.
"When I first saw that I had to be in that tomb thing for fifteen minutes, it sounded like an awfully long time and as soon as I was in I wanted out, but then I thought I had to stick it out," she explained.
She also spoke about the clashes over cooking in camp, insisting that she was never designated the role of chef.
"It's really weird because I never once said, I'm chef. But that meant if you do it, don't tell me how to do it," she commented. "It's the old saying, too many cooks and all that.
"It's like, if you want to do it go ahead, but don't be telling me what to do whilst I'm doing it. I wanted to blow so many times during that."
Mel ended by declaring Foggy as her winner, saying: "I would love Foggy to win purely because he's older. Jake's got time to have a massive career, and he will, he's very well liked."
Mel lasted a total of 21 days in the jungle, and was the highest-placing female contestant after Edwina Currie left in yesterday's elimination.
