Jake Quickenden has a new admirer in the I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! camp in the form of Edwina Currie.

Sexual frustration appears to be taking hold in the Aussie jungle, with Jake remarking: "I'm horny. I'm horny every day to be honest!"

And it seems his itch is catching the attention of ladies of all ages – as Edwina spent yesterday openly ogling his body.

While chatting with the former X Factor contestant, she cooed: "Your face is very chiseled. You're looking more like a film star now."

A short while later, Jake begun working out nearby, using logs as weights – and Edwina watched on gleefully, taking the opportunity to gossip with Vicki Michelle.

Commenting on his shaved, tattooed torso, the former Conservative MP said: "We're of the generation that like it like that (hairy) aren't we?

"When you get older one of the frustrations is you see young bodies and young bodies are just awesome. Just to sit and watch Jake doing his exercises and doing a bit of stretching and so on… mmm. That's an old lady's dream."

Offering her take on the sexual tension between the pair, Vicki told the Bush Telegraph: "Edwina does talk about it quite a lot but in a fun way and she's a sexy mama.

"Jake's very honest about things and I think he's missing sex in a big way."

I'm A Celebrity continues tomorrow night at 9.00pm on ITV.
