Tonight sees a big X Factor first as viewers are given the power to pick which judge gets which of this year's categories.
As usual, the new series has the four separate categories of hopefuls - the Girls, the Boys, the Groups and the Overs - with Simon Cowell, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Nick Grimshaw and Rita Ora each getting one to mentor throughout the competition.
But while the show's mysterious production team have previously been responsible for matching judges to acts, this year it will be up to viewers to decide.
Starting during the first episode tonight, Twitter users can set the course of the competition by tweeting hashtags with the judges' first names and the category they want them to take control of - 'girls', 'boys', 'groups' or 'overs'.
For example, #SimonBoys is a vote for Simon to get the boys, and #RitaOvers is a vote for Rita to get the over-25s.
To mark the special event, Twitter will even display special emoji next to each hashtag.
A few important rules: Re-tweets don't count, only one vote for each of the hashtags will be counted. Check your spelling - typos don't count. Make sure the hashtatgs are properly formed. Voting will close at 12:00 (noon) BST on Tuesday, 1 September 2015. Full T&Cs Available here.

Simon, Cheryl, Nick and Rita will find out which categories they've won when they begin filming the Six Chair Challenge at Wembley's SSE Arena next week.
